Vanderveen Farms Skagit Valley Burlington Washington

Holy cow guys! So much has happened the last few weeks! About mid March I found out that I was going to be at Vanderveen Farms for the Skagit Wedding Tour this September. I wanted a chance to bring a vision to life at this 100+ year old dairy farm in Skagit County, and that's when the dream team began to assemble! The vision was vintage 1950's with a beautiful rustic feel. Candy that was popular at the time, records, a beautiful 1957 Ford Fairlane. Everything was coming together seamlessly. The beautiful ring with the vintage flair, the birdcage veil, not to mention about 300 other details that helped to make the day just right! The flowers and centerpieces were sourced from local farms and even have that modern twist on a vintage favorite. Rustic Event Rentals even had the perfect tables and chairs and decor items that worked amazingly with this venue.

The thing that caught me most, was at the very end of the shoot the owners stopped by. They have been milking cows on this farm for over 60 years and just look how cute they are together! They work hard on their beautiful gardens and flowers all over their land to provide so many different backdrops for this gorgeous venue. We could not have been more blessed this day.

I cannot thank this dream team enough for everything I was able to capture on film. I highly recommend each and every one of these vendors. They are all local and located in Western Washington
