Dodging raindrops this past weekend, I was invited by Rebecca Anne Mortenson to second shoot with her at the beautiful Black Diamonds Gardens, in Black Diamond Washington! Alla and August were so sweet and the backdrop just screams pacific north west! That's one thing I absolutely love about Washington state. You can be minutes from Seattle, Tacoma or even Olympia and get this forest feel. I feel absolutely blessed to have witnessed two people so in love say their vows to one another surrounded by their beautiful family and friends. and GET THIS! They have a sister named Afton! She was awesome and kind and everything an Afton should be! Off and on all day the skies opened up and poured rain onto the day, but for the ceremony, the entire 40 minutes were sunny/ overcast. talk about luck! Also each time we did portraits the skies magically seemed to stop just long enough to get these beautiful photos!
